My husband turned 36 today.

He's celebrating with Billy. I think they're going to have a nice day.

And now he's broken his collarbone.

It's been busy around here. The twins are regularly getting into things now that they are mobile. Angelina loves her dance class but I think that's the tutu.

Billy's doing well with his little girlfriend. I wish she wasn't so close to him sometimes.

I think Mark is overdue for a vacation. I don't like this new consulting business at all.

Dear Mark,

How are the twins and Billy? Angelina is over with the Bartlets. Liz is very sick. Stupid Doug won't let her go back to the hospital. He thinks he can fix her. Abbey isn't fighting him but took the kids to their house. I tried to hire a nanny to help, but the former President refused.

So far it just looks like a bad virus. I'll be fine. I will come home by the end of the week. It just depends on how sick she is.

The kids are doing well. Billy's busy with school and his activities. I think we will be keeping Petey this weekend.

Annie's had twins. I think we're going to go up and see them next weekend. Her son got out yesterday so I think they can have a week to settle in.

Could Billy come stay at your office? He was involved in a fight at school today and has been suspended tomorrow. I have Mommy and Me with the twins tomorrow morning, then therapy with Angel. If I leave him at home he will just play games and not learn anything.

He is under orders to do nothing but a research project on nonviolence tomorrow. He must have five pages written before he can go back to school. Could he sit in your office and work silently? I would sincerely appreciate it.

I think I blinked and the summer disappeared. Billy starts school tomorrow. Seventh grade. He's told me that he wants to do it all, every sport available and his computer classes. He tries so hard I just don't want him overextended.

Mark's been busy lately. He was so wonderful the other night when we had our alone time. It's nice to let Billy babysit a little. He's getting so old on us.

Dad's in China. Billy's been spotting him on TV. Even Angelina's figured out who he is.
